Fridges, washers, stoves, water heaters — we haul away old appliances from anywhere on Oahu and handle disposal responsibly.
Getting rid of a large appliance is not as simple as dragging it to the curb. A refrigerator full of old freon, a washer stuck behind a bathroom door in a third-floor condo, or a water heater wedged into a utility closet — these are real obstacles that most people are not equipped to handle on their own. Moving heavy appliances through hallways and down stairs without damaging walls or floors takes experience and the right equipment. Then there is the question of what happens to the unit after it leaves your property.
Hawaii has its own disposal rules. Appliances containing refrigerant — refrigerators, chest freezers, window AC units — cannot go to the landfill or transfer station without proper freon recovery first. Electronics-adjacent items like dehumidifiers fall under Hawaii's e-waste guidelines. We handle the logistics so you do not have to figure it out yourself.
If you have a mix of appliances going out at the same time, removing them together is almost always more cost-effective than scheduling separate trips. A kitchen renovation, a laundry room upgrade, or a full unit cleanout can be done in a single haul.
Not everything goes to the same place. Here is how we approach it:
If your appliance still works and is less than 10 years old, consider selling it on Facebook Marketplace before calling us. A functioning washer or refrigerator in decent condition can move quickly and put money back in your pocket. Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Kalihi accepts working appliances in good condition for donation. We are here for the units that are past their useful life, broken beyond repair, or simply unwanted — not to haul away something someone else could use.
We prefer appliances placed outside — in the driveway, on a covered lanai, or near the garage entrance — to avoid interior wall and floor damage during the move. If the unit cannot be moved outside, that is fine. Let us know when you book so we can bring the right tools and protective materials. We will not assume it is outside if you have not told us.
On the day of pickup, we confirm your appointment window, arrive on time, load the unit, and clear out. No debris left behind, no unannounced crew changes. If access requires elevator coordination in a condo building, give us that information upfront and we will work around it.
A Pearl City family upgrading their kitchen needed the old fridge, stove, and dishwasher removed the same day the new ones were delivered. They needed everything out before the delivery window opened. We cleared all three appliances that morning, including coordinating freon recovery for the refrigerator, and were done before the delivery truck arrived. Same-day scheduling is not always possible, but when it is, we make it work.
We regularly serve Pearl City, Aiea, Ewa Beach, and the broader central and west Oahu communities, as well as Honolulu, Kailua, and the North Shore.
